Highdown Vineyard and Fawn Art Consultancy warmly invite you to join them for a glass of wine on Friday 28th October between 6.30 – 8.30pm to celebrate the opening of ‘Spirit of the Downs.’ An exhibition by award local winning photographer Oliver Perrott.

About the exhibition:

 

Housed in a winery barn with spectacular views of the vineyard and the South Downs, Highdown Vineyard is to play host to a fascinating exhibition of work by local landscape photographer Oliver Perrott.

Curated by Brighton based Fawn Art Consultancy, ‘Spirit of the Downs’ draws it’s inspiration from the South Downs Way. The photographs portray images of hauntingly beautiful yet commonplace landscapes that explore how this ancient land, moulded and shaped by human presence has developed into a natural tapestry within the South Downs National Park. 

Visitors to the exhibition can enter a competition to have their favourite South Downs location photographed by Oliver himself, what better reason to venture out into the cold weather!

We are very pleased with the quality of these wines and have increased the range of wines available. Our redesigned labels give a real sense of Sussex where our wines come from

We are really pleased to have an exhibition of the work of local artist, Piers Ottey brightening up our winery building.

Highdown Sparkling Red

We are pleased to announce, weather permitting, that our Highdown Sparkling Red will be available from our shop on Saturday December 11th.  Priced at £24.50 this will be perfect for the Festive Season. Made from our Rondo and Dornfelder grapes this original sparkling red wine is deep violet in colour with an elegant red fruit aroma. Complex, rich textured with fresh balanced acidity. Delicate bubbles, sweet fruit with a dry finish. Please call Highdown 01903 500663 to check it has arrived. This is a limited bottling with only 350 bottles available.
